Our Burundi coffee comes from the high hills of Ngozi, Burundi, where coffee farming is more than a crop—it’s a way of life. Through our partnership with FOBUPCO (Friends of Burundian Products Company), Javataza is helping local smallholder farmers by ensuring they receive fair, stable prices for their coffee. That income gets reinvested into the community—supporting education, housing, and even retirement homes for low-income farmers. Each batch is handpicked and processed at local washing stations, a tradition that helps preserve the coffee’s signature brightness and fruity character. Every cup tells a story of resilience, craftsmanship, and community, and we’re proud to help carry that story forward.
